FALCON
Future Army Leaders Command Operations Network
FALCON provides an expandable intelligent agent tool kit as a client to the DaVinci system that was under development by the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM), under the Command Post XXI Advanced Technology Demonstration (ATD) program, at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.
FALCON utilizes the ICDM (Integrated Cooperative Decision Making) framework, licensed from CDM Technologies Inc., and includes agents to address the following military command and control objectives:
Execution monitoring to provide situation awareness at multiple levels from company team to brigade.
Scaled distributed situation awareness to directly support subordinate opportunism and accelerate tempo, especially when conducting non-contiguous operations.
Inferences and implications to trigger recommendations and/or actions depending on the autonomy granted.
Focused overwatch involving the assignment of mentors to specific units, locations, activities, and commodity/activity levels.
Allocation of both combat and combat service-support assets as a component of a dynamic planning process shaped by triggers.
