Sandbox: Services

KML has designed its sandbox facility to help users evaluate the stability, utility, and efficacy of their experimental technologies and demonstrate these qualities to the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM). To this end, the Lab offers members various evaluation and validation services, ranging from traditional testing to conceptual-level assessment.

Testing Service
For organizations in need of third-party testing, KML offers testing services that can be tailored to the needs and goals of each project. Such services can span a number of testing metrics, including black box, functional, integration, performance, regression, and usability testing.

Assessment Service
With the support of affiliated subject matter experts, KML offers conceptual assessment of advanced, information management technologies. This type of assessment focuses on the design, development, and implementation principles exhibited by a member's technology implementation and vets those principles against conceptual guidelines as well as best practices.
